Over the last year I have worked hard behind the scenes to create what I feel is a valuable resource for sales professionals who extensively use the phone or want to use the phone to sell. Why did I write Telephone Selling with Integrity?

For so long selling has a bad reputation in the eyes of many people and selling over the phone has an even worse reputation. What many sales professionals and their leaders fail to realise is that it is not the method of selling that is the problem but how it is executed. Why is sales integrity so important?

I have owned Gary Morgan Coaching for over 13years and have helped inside sales, telesales and customer service teams to sell better over the phone. We have all heard the stories from customers who have felt that the salesperson on the end of the phone hasn’t listened to them, or that they haven’t known enough about product they are selling. The ones that have sounded like they were talking purely from a script without taking into consideration that a human is sat there at the other end of the phone line. Sadly trust is seen as a commodity in very short supply.

Integrity is crucial as buyers are always more likely to go ahead with a purchase when they trust the person at the end of that phone selling the product or service.

It’s my job to help teams to understand that there is a way to sell without falling into these traps. There is a way to help your client or prospect to get what they need as an individual whilst satisfying the KPI’s of the business too.
